Prompt: Winner!
"You are the winner!" Geoffrey smiled at Kevin. Kevin glared at Geoffrey. He was in no mood to deal with Geoffrey's antics today. "Don't you want to know what you've won?" Geoffrey asked. "No," Kevin shook his head. "But it's great," Geoffrey looked like a sullen child who had just had his balloon ripped from his hand and popped in front of him. Kevin didn't care. He knew he wasn't going to care about what he had 'won' and it was most likely some kind of extra work that he was going to have to do. Prompt: "So, he proposed...." / "Congratulations! Wait...did you say yes?" / "No, the plane we were on was making an emergency landing and he thought we were about to die....so he did a lot more than propose." / "What did he do? Admit he was a secret agent? Confess that he hates your hair?" / "What's wrong with my hair?" "So," Angelica said, "He proposed." "Congratulations!" Aria shouted. Aria threw her arms around Angelica's neck. "Wait," Aria said, releasing Angelica from the hug and looking at her friend, "Did you say yes?" "No," Angelica shook her head, "The plane we were on was making an emergency landing and he thought we were about to die..." Angelica flushed red with embarrassment as she thought about that moment, "So, he did a lot more than propose." Aria's eyes widened, waiting for Angelica to spill the rest of the tea. "What did he do? Admit he was a secret agent? Confess that he hates your hair?" Angelica was about to jump in and explain what he had actually done, when what Aria had said registered in her brain. "Wait," she said, "What's wrong with my hair?" "Nothing," Aria said quickly. The words had just slipped out of her mouth before she could stop them. "No," Angelica shook her head. She wasn't about to let Aria off that easily. "Tell me," Angelica ordered, "What's wrong with my hair?" "Tell me what he did first," Aria said. "Nope, hair first." The two of them stared at each other, each wondering who was going to break first.

Prompt: "I love you." / "I was really hoping that you wouldn't say that to me."
"I love you," Gannon said. Naraina pursed her lips and refused to make eye contact. She had been seriously hoping that Gannon wouldn't say those words. She had been hoping that this was a conversation she wouldn't have to have, yet, here she was, being forced into having this conversation. "I was really hoping," Naraina said softly, still not looking Gannon in the eyes. Gannon started to smile as he anticipated where the conversation was leading. Naraina's stomach dropped. this wasn't going to be easy. She hated that she was going to have to let him down. "That you wouldn't say that to me," she finished quickly. She hoped she had said it quickly enough that he hadn't gotten his hopes up too high, but looking at Gannon's crushed face, she knew that she probably hadn't been fast enough. "What do you mean?" Gannon asked. "I mean," Naraina took a deep breath, "That, I don't love you in the same way that you love me. I care deeply for you and I do love you, just not romantically." Prompt: I couldn't help it.
I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. It just happened, And now it's too late. Prompt: "I can't believe it....you don't actually care about me." / "No, I don't. But I'm honestly surprised it took you this long to notice. After all, you knew from the start that I was a villain. What did you expect?" / "I thought they were wrong about you."
"I can't believe it..." Kaida paused. Her heart was aching as her mind tried to process what was happening. "You don't actually care about me." "No, I don't," Miromir shook his head. Honestly, he had thought Kaida was smarter than that. "And quite frankly, I'm surprised that it took you this long to notice. After all, you knew who I was from the start. What did you expect?" Kaida looked at Miromir sadly. "I thought they were wrong about you." She had hoped that they had been wrong about him. She wanted to believe that they had been wrong about him. That thought had given her hope. Prompt: If I disappear will you look for me? If I disappear, Will you look for me? If I disappear, Will it matter? If I disappear, Will anything change? Prompt: "Heroes and villains....at the end of the day, we're all the same. We both want something. The only difference is that I'm not afraid to use slightly illegal means in order to get it." / "Slightly illegal is a bit of an understatement..."
"Heroes and villains," Geoffrey said. He put the knife even closer to Skye's neck, if it moved any closer, she would get a nick in her neck. Kevin swore that if there was so much of a drop of blood popped up on Skye's precious skin, he would rip Geoffrey to shreds with his own two hands. "At the end of the day," Geoffrey continued, "We're all the same." Kevin's hand inched toward the gun in its holster, calculating on whether he would be able to shoot Geoffrey faster than Geoffrey could hurt Skye. "We both want something," Geoffrey continued, explaining how the heroes and villains were the same, "The only difference is that I'm not afraid to use slightly illegal means in order to get it." The knife moved closer to Skye's neck, causing a drop of blood to pop up on Skye's neck. Kevin's blood ran hot and all he could see was red. "Slightly illegal is a bit of an understatement," Kevin said, "What you are doing is far more than slightly illegal, and I swear if you bring that knife any closer, I will end you right here and now." "See," Geoffrey laughed, "We're the same. You and I. Both willing to do whatever it takes to get what we want." Geoffrey pushed Skye towards Kevin. As she fell towards Kevin, he brought out his gun and began shooting at Geoffrey, catching Skye in one arm and holding her tightly to him as he ended Geoffrey's life. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! From my family to yours, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm waxing sentimental this year, so here are some people I'm thankful for this year. Valery: Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for allowing me the space I need to just breathe, and for sometimes forcing me to breathe (or yell), even when I would rather ignore it and pretend I'm fine. You are always there to make me pause a beat and sort things out. Emma: You came into my life at the right moment. Thank you for giving me a space to cry and reminding me that it's okay for me to cry. Thank you for helping me heal my inner child and work through some difficult issues without judgement. You are amazing and I honestly couldn't have gone through everything I had gone through this year, and accomplish everything I accomplished this year without you and your help. Joe: I'm so glad that you were willing to take a chance on me, and for giving me a chance. Thank you for being such a great mentor and a great friend. Noel: I am so lucky that you are a part of my life. You are amazing and I love you. Thank you for always being my advocate and friend, for always watching out for me and taking care of me. Four 1 & All: You guys are a bunch of great guys. Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone (especially when it comes to pictures) and reminding me that it's okay to own my journey. GUD & Royalty Awakened: Thank you for your friendship and kindness. The Renda's: Thank you for being willing to take me in and help give me a safe place to land, and for being so great and taking care of me. It has truly been a remarkable year, and a lot has happened, which has left me a lot to be thankful for. Prompt: What's been up with you lately? You're worrying me.
"Hey," Ksenia said. She sat down next to Alverick. He had been so different lately Prompt: No, thank you. I don't want to.
"No thank you," Jareth said, shaking his head. "Why not?" Anselm asked. Sometimes dragons were the worst. "I don't want to," Jareth said with a shrug. Prompt: "You want me?" / I giggled at his bewildered expression. / "That's what I'm saying." / He paused a moment. / "How - But - What did I do?" / "I don't know," I said with a shrug. / "I just think that we'd be a good us." / He smiled slowly. / "We'd be a wonderful us." Livianna stared at Alex as her mind whirled around, trying to make sense of what was happening. The words he was saying didn't seem to be computing in her head. She knew she knew the words that were being used, she had heard them all before. She had heard them said to other people. She had read those words. She knew what they meant, but she had never heard them being said to her before, and she couldn't quite figure out how she was supposed to take those words, and how she was supposed to handle this king of situation. "You want me?" she asked. She was still stuck on stupid. Alex laughed at Livianna's bewildered expression. He couldn't help it. She looked so cute and adorable in her confused state. She was so sweet and amazing. "That's what I'm saying," Alex said with a nod of his head, a smile still on his face. Livianna paused for a moment, still trying to wrap her mind around everything. This was far too complicated for her brain to handle and she was starting to get a headache. "How - But -" she said, trying to get her thoughts into words and figure out what was happening, "What did I do?" she finally asked. "I don't know," Alex shrugged. He had no idea what Livianna had done. She hadn't really done anything. She was just Livianna, and that was good enough for him. To him, she was perfect, no need to do anything. "I just think that we'd be a good us," Alex continued. Livianna smiled and nodded her head as she contemplated what he was saying. "You're right," Livianna said. She moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. Alex wrapped his arms around her and looked down at her face that was staring up at him. He brushed the hair out of her face so that he could get a better look at her and smiled down at her. "We'd be a wonderful us," Livianna said softly with a smile. Alex kissed her gently. Prompt: You gave me peace in a lifetime of war.
Hunter held Carrie's hand and looked deeply into her eyes. "You gave me peace," Hunter said. He would never be able to thank Carrie for what she had given him. He could never repay Carrie. He would never be able to reciprocate. "In a lifetime of war." Hunter kissed Carrie deeply, passionately, hoping to convey how much she had meant to him. Prompt: 3 brave adventurers, with absolutely no skill, are sent to find the most beloved jewel of the kingdom: the princess
Lochlan walked into the room with the king. The king never really talked to him, never really had anything to do with him, so being called to his father’s side was nerve wracking. He wretched his brain trying to figure out what he had done to cause his father to want to see him. “I have great news for you!” the king said with a smile on his face. Lochlan’s eyes widened, and his stomach dropped again. He and his father didn’t often have the same taste in good news. In fact, they were, more often than not, complete opposites. “As you know, a neighboring kingdom’s daughter was taken by dragons years ago.” Lochlan nodded. He knew that. He had grown up hearing all the stories. He probably knew more about Princess Kaida than anyone else. He had studied it for awhile. “YOU are going to rescue the princess in the tower!” the king continued, “We’ll reunite her with her family and put you on her throne, and we’ll rule two kingdoms!” Lochlan stated at the king in absolute shock. He didn’t do things like that. That was Aesira’s department. She was the one who did the training. She was the one who went on missions. She was the one that defended the kingdom. He stayed home. He read. He learned. He wrote. He did all of the things that the ‘princess’ should be doing. He didn’t get his blood on his hands. He could barely lift a sword, let alone swing one. “You can pick some of your best men to accompany you.” Lochlan forced a smile, bowed, and left the room to face his fate. As he left, Arnosio and Creocio stopped him. “And if you even think about telling anyone anything about what you heard,” Arnosio hissed. “Remember that your precious little sister is going to be staying here,” Crecio added. They didn’t have to finish their thoughts. Lochlan’s imagination could fill in the blanks all too well. So, that’s how they were going to get rid of him. They were going to make him do the dirty work of bringing down his own kingdom, and would make him die trying. |
